As an HSE unit, Workplace Safety Trainings are given to employees to work in a secure and healthy environment within the scope of workplace safety regulations no. 273-1 and 272.

Workplace Safety Trainings for Employees within the scope of the regulation, “GUVOHNOMA” is prepared and we give it to the employees. We can also create a participation document database by HSE Group and verify the document from the website homepage.

Our training period is 26 hours.

In this way, the basic workplace safety training to be carried out at specified intervals ensures the formation of workplace health and safety culture in employees. 90% of workplace accidents are accidents that can be prevented by simple measures, and only 2% of accidents are accidents that cannot be prevented.

Workplace Safety Training of Employees

  1. The employer ensures that employees receive workplace health and safety training. This training is especially given; before starting work, in case of change the workplace or job change, change of work equipment or implementation of new technology. Trainings are renewed in accordance with the changing and emerging risks, repeated when necessary and at regular intervals.
  2. Employee representatives are specially trained.
  3. In jobs that are obliged to receive vocational training, those who cannot certify that they have received vocational training related to the work cannot be employed.
  4. Prior to work, additional training is provided in the area of the cause of the accident or occupational illness, prevention and safe working methods for the worker who has an occupational injury or occupational disease. In addition, those who have been out of work for more than six months for any reason are provided a renewal training before starting work again.
  5. Employees who come to work from other workplaces cannot be started without a certificate that the training has been received, which contains sufficient information and instructions on the health and safety risks to be encountered in the work to be done.
  6. The employer, who has a temporary working relationship, ensures that the employee is given the necessary training against workplace health and safety risks.

Getting Opinions of the Employees and Ensuring Their Contribution

  1. a) To obtain their opinions on issues related to occupational health and safety, to recognize the right to make proposals and to take part in and participate in the discussions on these issues.
    b) To take their views on the implementation of new technologies, the work equipment to be selected the working environment and the impact of the conditions on the health and safety of employees.
  2. The employer ensures that support staff and employee representatives are interviewed in advance on the following issues:
    a) Assignment of workplace physicians, occupational safety specialists and other personnel to be assigned from or outside the workplace, as well as people for first aid, firefighting and evacuation.
    b) Providing protective and preventive measures to be taken and protective equipment and equipment that should be used by carrying out risk assessments.
    c) Prevention of health and safety risks and the execution of preventive services.
    d) Informing of the Employees
    e) Planning of training for employees.
  3. The rights of employees or their representatives cannot be restricted in cases where the measures taken for occupational health and safety in the workplace are inadequate or because they apply to the competent authority during inspection.

Basic Workplace Safety Training Employee Obligations

  1. Employees are responsible for not endangering the health and safety of themselves and other employees affected by their actions or their work.
  2. The obligations of the employees in line with the training and instructions given by the employer are as follows:
    a) To use machinery, devices, tools, equipment, hazardous materials, transport equipment and other production tools in the workplace in accordance with the rules, to use their safety equipment correctly, not to arbitrarily remove and modify them.
    b) To use and protect the “personal protective equipment” provided to them correctly.
    c) To immediately notify the employer or employee representative when they encounter a serious and imminent danger in terms of ‘health and safety’ in machinery, devices, tools, equipment, facilities and buildings in the workplace and when they see a deficiency in protection measures.
    d) To cooperate with the employer and the employee representative for the elimination of deficiencies and non-compliance with the legislation determined by the inspection authority.
    e) To cooperate with the employer and employee representative in order to ensure occupational health and safety in his / her field of duty.
