Responsibilities:
The Lifting Supervisor, There is a critical role of a lifting supervisor or crane lifting supervisor in ensuring safety and efficiency on construction sites. As an important figure overseeing lifting operations, the crane/lifting supervisor plays an important role in preventing accidents, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing efficiency. Lifting Supervizor is also responsible in carrying out Crane Lifts on site, supervising all Crane Lifts, completing out daily paper work and checklists, ensuring all lifts are in accordance with the site lift plans and all other associated duties as and when required.
Identifying and managing risks is a core responsibility of the lift supervisor. This involves assessing potential hazards associated with lifting operations, such as unstable ground conditions, overhead obstacles, or adverse weather conditions, and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate these risks. By proactively addressing potential issues, lift supervisors help to minimize the likelihood of accidents and keep workers safe on the job.
