Scaffolding Supervizors

Responsibilities:

Scaffolding Supervisors oversee the construction and dismantling of scaffolding structures, ensuring all aspects are carried out safely and in accordance with regulations. They play a crucial role in various construction projects, maintaining a safe environment for workers at height. They monitor the work of scaffolding teams and ensure that all practices adhere to safety regulations.

• Overseeing the construction, alteration, and dismantling of all types of scaffolding
• Implementing and maintaining safety standards as per the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
• Carrying out regular safety inspections of scaffolding structures
• Coordinating with other construction teams and supervisors to ensure all scaffolding needs are met
• Organizing and managing scaffolding teams, including training and supervising staff
• Ensuring the correct and safe usage of all scaffolding equipment
• Assessing risks and hazards associated with scaffolding and implementing preventative measures
• Resolving any issues or discrepancies regarding the design and execution of scaffolding structures
• Maintaining inventory of all scaffolding equipment and ordering new materials as needed
• Ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Planning and allocating work to the scaffolding crew.
• Inspecting scaffolding materials before and after erection.
