The Occupational Health and Safety Regulation stipulates that the dangers that employees are exposed to in the workplace are determined, measured and eliminated. These dangers may be caused by the excess or deficiency of foreign substances in the environment. In cases where the non-conformity of the substances cannot be determined visually as a result of the Risk Assessment, environmental measurements should be made. Workplace environment measurements is a process of measuring the magnitude, frequency, and duration of exposure to physical and chemical hazards.
HSE Group & Measurement Laboratory is an accredited occupational hygiene laboratory for all environmental measurement. By fulfilling all the requirements of the ISO 17025 standard, HSE Group Laboratory operates in evaluating and performing measurements made within the scope of accreditation following legislations, regulations, communiqués, and the needs of our customers and reporting accordingly. Measurements are divided into work environment and personal exposure. While the work environment measurements take into account the occupational hygiene in the general environment, the personal exposure measurements determine the amount of exposure that can affect the health of the employee who does a certain job throughout the day.
