Since at least 400 million tons of chemicals are produced in the world every year and used in all types of industries, many of today’s workers are exposed to chemical hazards in one way or another. Many of these chemicals can cause great harm to people and the environment. Chemical substances used in industry are among the main causes of work accidents and health problems caused by carelessness and misuse.
