Workplace Nurse
According to Article 14 of the Occupational Safety Regulation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is mandatory to have workplace physicians and health personnel in “workplaces with 50 or more employees”
For companies considered to be of a dangerous type, the appointment of other health staff is shown to be very important and required by law. It appears that the concept of other health workers has recently become a commonly used concept in companies, with full implementation of occupational safety laws. If a full-time doctor works in businesses, other health care workers are not required to be assigned.
However, companies with large numbers of employees appoint other health workers to ensure quality and occupational health. This will speed up and improve both inspection and health activities. It is necessary to fulfill certain conditions and receive the training necessary to work as other health staff.
What are Other Health Personnel?
Recent changes in the field of occupational health, the legal framework and the obligation to work for other health workers demonstrate that there is a high degree of concern about what additional health personnel are addressed in both companies and among the public. Other health personnel are called employees who work together with and under a doctor in workplaces to plan, monitor and direct evaluation activities for the planning of occupational safety and health services in compliance with the legal process, collect data on their activities and keep the necessary data.
