Is the Explosion Protection Document Mandatory?

According to “Regulation on Protection from Dangers”: In order to prevent and protect against explosions, the employer takes explosion protection measures for the technique and organization that are in accordance with the nature of the processes. When taking these precautions, the following basic principles and the given order of priority are followed;
  • Preventing explosive environment
  • If it is not possible to prevent the formation of an explosive environment due to the nature of the procedures carried out, it is necessary to prevent the igniting of the explosive environment
  • To take measures to reduce the harmful effects of the explosion in a way that ensures the health and safety of employees.
As HSE Group compnay, our expert staff complies with the relevant legislation and prepare documents on explosion protection as set out below.
  • Risk Assessment
  • Identification of relevant workplace parts that currently create an explosive atmosphere
  • Detection in explosive risk areas of chemical and electrical equipment
  • Material safety data sheets (MSDS) for a detailed list of flammable chemical properties
  • As a result of research conducted within the framework of standards, hazardous areas have been identified and areas with an explosion risk have been calculated.
  • Analysis and evaluation of the required actions
Following our studies, a detailed report is prepared which includes the necessary explosive protection measures to prevent and reduce the effects of explosion after measurement, calculation and analyses and after determination of all the sections that may lead to exploding atmosphere on the workplace.
